Luoston Hovi is a popular location to hold a traditional Lappish wedding reception, the focus of the menu being on traditional Lappish dishes. The dinner will be a 3-course sit down meal for the wedding couple and their guests. The menu can be tailored to your desires—popular Lappish dishes include fish and reindeer meat for the main course, delicacies range from game birds to elk and bear meat. Forest mushrooms, selection of Lappish cheeses and a variety of locally grown berries are also popular. Luoston Hovi is also fully licensed, but various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages can be ordered in advance.
Alternatively, there is also an option to rent out one of our very spacious lodges to hold your wedding reception. Some of the lodges are equipped with professional kitchens, and you can hire one of the Canterbury Travel chefs to cook for you and your wedding guests privately.
