Luoston Hovi is a popular location to hold a traditional Lappish wedding reception, the focus of the menu being on traditional Lappish dishes. The dinner will be a 3-course sit down meal for the wedding couple and their guests. The menu can be tailored to your desires—popular Lappish dishes include fish and reindeer meat for the main course, delicacies range from game birds to elk and bear meat. Forest mushrooms, selection of Lappish cheeses and a variety of locally grown berries are also popular.

Why not combine your dream wedding with a bit of adventure! Winter Wonderland packages operate January-April to the resort of Luosto, and this 7 night winter adventure is a tailor-made package. Flights are available from various UK locations. The basic package cost covers your flights, transfers and accommodation (some accommodation is room only, others are with breakfast included). You are then free to choose from all the available excursions, ski options and meal packages to build your own itinerary according to what you want to do whilst you are there.

Luosto is considered the Jewel of Lapland - a beautiful and uncommercialized resort located about 90km north of the Arctic Circle, nestled in the National Forest.

Canterbury Travel can offer a wide range of quality log cabins and luxury villas in Luosto. In addition, there are two local, charming hotels. The Luostotunturi Hotel is family-orientated, with rooms sleeping up to 5 people, and the use of a beautiful Spa pool is free of charge for hotel guests. The Aurora Chalet hotel is a smaller venue, with an a la carte restaurant and some rooms can sleep up to 4 guests.

Canterbury Travel has a wide range of accommodation in our Winter Wonderland location of Luosto; You may choose from hotel accommodation to a romantic private Lapland log cabin, luxury log cabin, or even holiday villas with ski-in and ski-out elements – ideal choices for couples, families and bigger groups. All log cabins have a private sauna and log fire, as well as your choice of open-plan or separate bedrooms.
