Luosto in Finnish Lapland offers uncrowded pistes and fantastic dry and fluffy snow. This is a place where lift queues are almost unheard of! Offering 7 slopes and 3 ski lifts, Luosto ski resort provides exciting and relaxed downhill skiing and snowboarding opportunities. It is a perfect place for children and adults to learn skiing as the slopes are aimed at beginners and intermediates. The wide, uncrowded slopes and great snow conditions provide the perfect platform for exploring the world of skiing and/or snowboarding. For the more advanced and adventerous skiers, Luosto has great off-piste and street opportunities, mainly favoured by snowboarders.
Ski school is also available for booking at resort and is located at the bottom of the slopes. You can get ski or snowboarding lessons, either privately or in a group, and all the instructors speak very good English. There are also different levels of ski school, depending on how experienced you are. Children have their own dedicated children's ski school (6-11 years).
