Your Accommodation at the Resort of Luosto
Unlike most other resorts that have succumbed to the neon lights and mass market, Luosto is an idyllic unspoilt village resort, nestling at the foot of one of the remaining mountains of the ice age where the true-to-nature traditions of buildings have been upheld, with log cabins still being built from pine snag, which is still the main building material in Luosto village today. Here you’ll find traditional log cabins with log fire and sauna & modern conveniences or the Luostotunturi Hotel with a beautiful Amethyst Spa swimming pool. Every hotel room offered by us has en-suite facilities, and some cabins are equipped with modern steam/power or sensor showers in every bedroom. Our Resort Cuisine
The aim is to use as much local produce as possible for example: berries, mushrooms, fish, game and Finnish cheeses. Nevertheless, like all quality resorts, you will also find a range of international cuisine and special diets such as vegetarian, gluten free etc can be catered for.

Luostonhovi Restaurant and Bar
Close to the resort slopes and centrally located is Luostonhovi, a large log cabin completely refurbished in 2003/2004 with friendly bar and restaurant as well as the Canterbury Travel Office. Here you will feel particularly welcome and will be sharing the living spaces and meals with other guests, perhaps making new friends within the small group.
