As the Scandinavians are avid cross country skiers there are excellent marked and well maintained cross country skiing tracks, the circuit of over 80kms (25kms being floodlit) is rated amongst the best in the country. Whether trying cross country skiing for the first time, practising skills already learnt or if you are a confident, advanced enthusiast you will have many tracks to choose from offering beautiful landscapes and views and linking cafes and huts where you can stop for a warm drink.
