Snowmobile safari to the Arctic Circle

Discover your inner senses on this snowmobile safari through the varying terrain of this beautiful Arctic wilderness. Drive through snow covered forests and open fells. You may be lucky enough to experience the beautiful colours of the Northern Lights or the "blue moments" when the sun disappears around mid-day. Imagine the feeling when you will reach the Arctic Circle!

Day 1 Transfer from Rovaniemi to your hotel in Sodankylä, Meet all the other members of the safari and your English speaking guide, who will discuss the snowmobile program with you for the few coming days. (overnight in Hotel Bear Inn. Sodankylä)

Day 2 An introduction to your snowmobile. Familiarise yourself with the safety aspects of driving a snowmobile and enjoy a short driving lesson. You will drive your first trip through the snowy forest to the fell of Pyhätunturi, where a lunch will be served amidst the stunning scenery. When the day turn you will reach the Arctic Circle! Raise a glass in a toast to crossing the Arctic border line. (overnight in Arctic Circle Hotel)

Day 3 Driving through the National park area through the varying terrain. Enjoying the wilderness atmosphere at the open picnic lunch. Arriving at the Luosto holiday resort in late afternoon. Dinner together at the Restaurant Luostonhovi.

Day 4 onwards Following your meal, you will be taken to the accommodation of your choice, as per you holiday reservation.
